Oscar Mulero specialises in techno of the blood and thunder variety but while "Muscle and Mind" certainly has steel in its toecaps, a unidimensional aggression-fest it most certainly ain't. Behind every barrage of kicks there's a wealth of sonic detail (the echoing peals of fractured bells on "Interrelated", for example) to keep things interesting. Ferocity with finesse. Nic Brown
That kind of techno which is deeply intertwined with ambient and bits of electronica. Not eally groovy, bit dark, but very well done throughout the album Thibaut Devigne
